| History was made in Texas on Saturday as Supergold hosted "Pon di River, Pon di Bank", Texas' 1st ever reggae boat ride party on the Royal Princess Luxury Yacht. There were about 100 people on the 150-person luxury yacht. This was the perfect amount of people for the VIP affair. Sound was provided by Ultra Sound, musical entertainment was provided by Glama Wayne, the Musical Messiah from New York, and Fatta Carey and Tony Weed of Mikey Faith. Everybody was impressed and having a wonderful time, singing and dancing to the classic dancehall tunes featured by Glama Wayne. Glama Wayne played excellent, he is an experienced and professional selector. |  |

The liquor and food were all-inclusive, and enjoyed by all. Everybody was full of vibes and knew how to party. When the weather threatened to rain, the party moved indoors, then the rain stopped after about 30 mins. After that, the weather was wonderful and the sailing was smooth.. Glama Wayne played "..big ship sailing on the ocean"...the vibes were soo sweet. |

Mikie Faith and Tony Weed kept
the party vibes going with the hip hop, and back to dancehall. The
party was soo good, Supergold had to rent the boat for another hour,
no one wanted the party to end. Look out for the boatride party next
year, and get your tickets early, it was hit. Congratulations to Supergold
again and big ups to everybody onboard: Jamaican
Consulate, Dollar Bill, Laverne, Tasha and Bronco, Rastapha, Rider,
reggaelink crew, Peacemaker, Modelling Crew, and all the
crews representing..too many to mention... See you at the next Supergold
