reggaelink and crew arrived at the dance at about 3am..
the reception hall was full of people dressed in their valentine-themed attire..the ladies were pretty and the men looked nice!
I was impressed when I saw that the walls were lined with tables that had valentine flower arrangements and candles.
music: Fatta Carey and Tony Weed of Mikie Faith were playing a selection of American souls from the early 80's. it was cool....
Fire Links was up next and continued the souls collection with 'Rock With You' by Michael Jackson that got the crowd moving.
He kicked off the reggae segment with some Beres and lovers rock and changed up the pace with some Sizzla and remixes..
Next Peacemaker played and featured the big tune 'No Guns to Town' , but it didnt really move the crowd...but truss mi, that tune is big!
Fatta and Tony were up again, and they continued with some early 90's R&B (LeeAnn Rhimes, Shania Twain..)
Links was up again and juggled a few new tunes most importantly his self-produced Mad Instruments riddim on dub.
He also danced the Jiggy, Propellor, and Scooby Doo....by this time most people were gone, but it was fun anyway..
3G girls were in the house, as well as Keida and Laverne.. big up! Look out for Link Up TV..that's reggaelink on your tv set... we were in the house taking video.. so stayed tuned for the big kick-off!
Thanks again to Bronco of Nyam Cash, for providing the vibes and keeping dancehall alive in Houston..
Check out his new shop NCP Music Nation for the latest reggae music and dvd's, located at Bissonnet @ Kirkwood.

One love ~ reggaelink
